There are several ways of sealing such as hot sealing, cold sealing and sealing with laminated polyethylene foam. Within the hot sealing types, sealing by induction can be highlighted.
It is convenient to bear in mind the package material, the product that needs to be sealed and the separation characteristics required to select the appropriate sealing.
Induction is the most appropriate technique for sealing plastic and glass packages.
To use this technique, the caps must be provided with the sealing discs. These have to be composed of aluminum foil and a layer of polymer compatible with the container sealed.
Induction sealing keeps the packaging and covering process intact.
The fact of sealing a product influence the image to the end user, production, transport and of course to the product itself such as: guarantee of inviolability, longest expirations under warranty, maintenance of organoleptic characteristics and product protection (spills, robbery, rust…) among others.
The use of induction sealing adds other advantages beside these.
